Weight of Sound

This piece is layers upon layers of trial and error. Error came from trying to force an aesthetic to happen vs painting in my natural flow.
So I gave up and walked away (3 times)
Fourth attempt I was working on another larger piece and just periodically played with this canvas and just let whatever happened to happen.

While the Weight of Sound is a song by Stick Figure, I am bridging it to the weight of sound in my head – the noise, the rumination…. perseverating over nonsense and the unnecessary obstacles it creates.

This piece is so calm and peaceful yet spunky.
