Les Baux is one of the most incredible locations I have ever seen. It is a giant monolith rising out of the flats of Provence. It was used a as medieval fortified village. Hiking up one passes quaint shops and restaurants and finally arrives at the village consisting of caves catapults and passageways . When we got to the top the view was incredible although the wind was blowing fifty miles per hour. We had to hold on to the guy wires . A little scary but being there was an unforgettable experience.
