12 x 14 oil on linen
“Henry” (as I named him) was the only thing that survived the mice in the attic. He is a paper mâché puppet my mom made over 80 years ago for a class she was teaching. The mice ate the glue in all the crazy paper mâché Halloween masks she had made over the years for me (remember Purple People Eater?). Held together only by her oil paint they collapsed into dust when we tried to pick them up. I guess “Henry” spooked those mice. An interesting wood frame with subtle filigree and antique gold included.
