This large sculpture has a substantial presence in any room or office. It is hand-built using coil construction, which was used by indigenous peoples for centuries, as was the pit-firing in the sand at Dillon Beach on the north coast of California. It’s unglazed, which makes the process non-toxic and the fire leaves soft peach to beige to gray and black coloration naturally.
