Nature has always been my inspiration. I have always been fascinated by the exquisite detail of the world around me and use a realistic style to express the character of my subjects. Whether domestic animals or wildlife, I strive to capture the intricacy of their feathers, fur and eyes. Eyes are the windows to the soul and this is especially true of animals. For this reason, eyes are always the focal point of my work. I am especially captivated with portraying the unique emotional bond that people, pets and animals share with one another.
