As an artist I paint to discover my self, all those misteries and dreams that I carry inside. my works are a reflection of my personality.
Born in Mexico City in 1986.
My passion for art starter as a child, I enjoyed accompanying my mom to the center of the city because there were so many street artists selling their arts and doing live painting , I was fascinate and I appreciated the art of the artisans.
In 1998, I took my first art class, in which I developed my skill in drawing and acrylic painting. In that period of time, I learned a lot about well known and famous Mexican artists (for example: Rufino Tamayo, Jose Clemente Orozco, Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Saturnino Herran, among others) and thanks to them, I decided to do my own work that relates to the Mexican art, culture and traditions.
In 2001, I moved to the United States with my family.
I went to Manteca High School for two years and during my time there, I took an art class and painted my first mural, where I had my first recognition and also during that period I won some crafts contests.
In 2004, I was studying art, drawing and painting at San Joaquin Delta College. In my painting class, my colleagues and I were chosen to work on a mural for the ESL class (English as a Second Language) and we title the mural “Building the dreams”, which I was awarded and recognized as a muralist painter.
In the meantime of my training, I met an artist named Guillermo H Kelly, who became my personal teacher and he taught me how to develop the oil technique more fluently and we worked together on some projects.
Over the years, my work (landscapes, portraits and still life paintings) have been bought by private collectors.
My goal as an artist is to be able to touch people’s feeling and make that emotional connection through my artistic works and why not, leave my mark in the history.
