Kurt Vonnegut once wrote that the real job of an artist is to make people experiencing art feel a little bit good about being alive. I strive to do just that.
I have been painting for over 25 years. She studied at UC Berkeley Extension, Interior Design Program. Each of her paintings have a different approach and mood. On my abstracts, I have carefully layered acrylic paint on canvases or sheet rock creating a dense mixture of overlapping colours and shapes. The gradations of tone are quite subtle, slowly deepening and fading before our eyes. My expressive abstracts have a joyful play of lines and drops with spontaneously mixes of colour. Shapes, lines and colours fade away in the background while others appear at front. I find my inspirations from nature, space and colours everywhere.
My other discipline is night and landscape photography. I picked up the camera five years ago and its been attached to me ever since.Like an imaginary world of coloured abstract fields of mystic and pure nature or dreamy landscapes.
