It is more important than ever to make our voices heard and to bring beauty and understanding to everyday life. Images of all kinds catch my eye, ranging from reflections of protest marchers in rain puddles, a carefree child running down a street, or ducks stretching their wings in a pond. I love living a life with a sense of awe and mindfulness. I hope my paintings bring a bit of wonder and pleasure to your own space.
I am fortunate to have grown up in a family of artists. My earliest happy recollections were in the sun-drenched atelier of my grandfather. My great aunt in Vienna was a highly regarded and collected oil painter.
I work in-studio as well as plein air in oil paint, primarily on linen or canvas.
