Late Afternoon, Tomales Bay (Red Salt Marsh)

Late Afternoon, Tomales Bay, is an oil painting on canvas (24″ x 24″), of a view just north of Nick’s Cove, on the east shore. I was inspired by the calligraphic tidal channels in the pickle weed salt marsh, which turn this color at a certain time of year.

The original painting is sold, but “gicleé” fine art reproductions (archival prints) on paper or canvas are available. The giclee prints of this painting can be rolled and mailed to you for local framing under glass, or stretched on wood stretcher bars (no glass required). Price depends on size (not $1).
