Memories from our youth is sacred; it’s can’t be brought online or from a retail store. It can’t be recreated as it only exist in the unadulterated mind of our youth. Remembering these happy moments is like time traveling. I try to recreate it sometimes through my art… This piece echoed my summer break from Jr High school… talking on the phone, reading comic books, riding my 5 speed banana seat bike, listening to Bowie, and smoking a stolen cigarette from my dad’s Marlboro reds.
