Meet Shelli Poppin. She is a larger than life Golden Mantled Ground Squirrel. She used to be a librarian but after a vacation to England where she visited a store called Ginger and Pickles she was inspired to start a store of her own. She now lives among the Redwoods in Mendocino where she operates her store and sells small trinkets to other animals. Ravens are her most frequent customers. Shelli is a needle felted sculpture over a wire armature. She is made of wool and alpaca fiber and her fur coat is made of fur combed off of rescue rabbits at the SaveABunny rabbit rescue. She stands almost 10 inches tall and is possible with care. She comes with her little bit of redwood forest her wares and a nice glass dome to keep her safe from moths dogs and small children.
