About The Artist

Artist Statement

Marin Open Studios has graciously opened their doors to share the art of elementary aged children. Paintings, sculptures and mixed media pieces will be presented. Prose and poetry will accompany some of the work. Our subject is climate change. Kids come together to express what is happening to our planet, what it feels like, and what we can do about it. Both the beauty of our planet and the pain of our planet will be expressed in the art. Get ready to be dazzled and touched by kids – our future.

Please click on individual art pieces where you can view them enlarged and read the poem or description that accompanies the art piece.

This is an exhibit to fuel community and empower youth.  May 7th and 8th come view our exhibit in person at the ICB building.

These pieces maybe included in postcards or other sellable printed items that will be sold with all proceeds going to the Greta Thunberg Foundation, a non-profit that focuses on promoting ecological and social sustainability, as well as mental health issues. All originals will at this time be kept by the kid artists.

Kids Art for Climate Justice is an organization I started to support children in expressing their feelings thru creativity and positive action.

A huge thank you to the Kid Artists themselves!
