8X16 Oil on Canvas. Life started out good for Jack. Early father left the family. His
mother struggled to raise two sons life was hard. His brother died of an overdose young.
His mother moved on with a new man. There was nothing left in California for Jack so he packed up his
belongings in his Xterra and left for South Dakota six days on the road weaving through Nevada and Utah sleeping on red rocks in Moab along the Colorado River. Life was good wide open spaces for breathing.
