Collage and acrylic paint were used to create this whimsical mixed media piece. The two figures on the left side of the painting were developed through a process of applying multiple layers of paper scraps and paint, then slowly removing layers to reveal surprising details. You can see bits of newsprint and text along with muted pops of pink, blue and green.
