Novato , CA

My art focuses on the relationship between color and imagery and how each can reinforce each other. I exhibited in national competition in the 1970's and 1980's until I gave up the studio to be an art museum director until 2007. After retirement I returned to the studio and work in my studio six days a week when i am in Marin County. I continue to explore color and imagery and have recently focused my images on artists work that has influenced my interest in Modern and Contemporary art.

A former Museum director who returned to the studio after a 27 year as an art Museum executive director. Was on a path to be a professional artist with a Chicago art gallery representation until family commitments required a change in career. Serious about art and it’s history and uncompromising in my search for excellence in my studio work.
