Mill Valley, CA
"Ripple Effects" is the waterscape series I'm working on this year. Living on the waters edge in Mill Valley, I am constantly studying the water. The currents, the tides, the ripples and always changing colors. In this chaotic world, water calms me. The title is also a metaphor for me of how to live--always aware and sensitive of how one is impacting others and our world. My Nightscapes Series is another series I have been working on for the past few years. Remembering simpler times, the coziness of the old landmark buildings might--I fear--at any moment disappear. I've enjoyed finding hidden gems in pockets of Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Marin to commemorate through paintings and prints. It has become my passion project.
