Artmaking is like eating: I need to do it and get grumpy when I don't. It's self-nurturing, endlessly satisfying and something gets transformed in the process. It's also about communication. I want to express myself and I also want my work be understandable to others; thus my ongoing interest in words as well as pictures. The choice of medium is whatever will best serve the content. My current focus is ink drawing and mixed media.
