Abstractions -- color, movement, a place in time. Nature and the world around me are my source of creative inspiration. I am drawn to how our visual perceptions and emotional sensibilities connect us. It is the abstract elements of color, shape, line, movement and a place in time that we all intuitively feel, see, engage and remember. Deconstructing what I see into simple relationships: form, line and color, the painted image evolves as it becomes a balance of all parts to the whole.
